Take the wingnut out and the cradle slides apart, allowing you to stow the gun+stock separately or more compactly.

mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

How is the bored barrel working for you? With the thread adaptor and all?

Now I'm the confused one. I thought thats what the pin in the side was for of do you need to loosen the nut and pull the pin?

It looks to me to a be a locating fixture to help align the two holes for the pull pin. Otherwise you have to push the stock back and forth until they align. Push the stock all the way up and then pull back so the wingnut is resting against the front of the mount. Insert pull pin and it is done. Clever but I'd rather have a nylock nut so once set it doesn't move.

On the NW's the wingnut basically tightens the play in the pin. You obviously can't have a 13 inch stock be held without rattle using a simple pin but when you use the wingnuts to put pressure, it tightens it nicely.
