Different feeds

So I'm tempted to get myself a nice open class pump after I get my garg, and I was thinking. Is there any way to change the feedtube and put on a c/a adapter on this and make it open class? It would only be for every now and then, but it'd be easier than ordering a T2(unless both my guns sold), and I'm assuming it'd be cheaper as well. Plus, I'd have no reason to have any other guns.

There may be a way to make an open class feed, really up to Rodney. I don't think the gargoyle would be the on par fire power wise as an open class gun like the T2, just the nature of the beast. You know being a purpose built Stock Class marker vs purpose built Open Class marker.

Yeah I know it won't be the same. But it'd be awesome.

Vert feed is on RTR's list of things to do for the Gargoyle, but it's not at the top of the list.

Expect more cool stuff from RTR soon.

That is unfortunate

Try PMing him. Or contact someone here about making a custom vert feed, it shouldn't be that hard for anyone. May cost a few pennies though of course..

On the list.

However, in addition to the already mentioned points, consider this as well.

As you may know, each gun body and feed block are mated and then cut together. After that gets done it's a lot of filing and sand paper to match them as best I can visually.

With that being said, a custom feed block will be able to be made however the fit and finish in relation to each other when together may not be the best looking when someone puts it on there Gargoyle.

We'll have to see what happens.

I'm more of a "go over show" kinda guy. As long as it fits and looks half way decent I'd be happy. But in the mean time I could just man up and and try to get better at SC.

Not meaning to step on Rodney's toes, but you could use a CCI body for when you wanted more firepower. That would keep the Gargoyle the wonderful stock class gun that it is, and allow you to use a hopper without ruining the lines or dealing with fitting parts to a hand crafted gun.
