Gargoyle Trigger and Lapco Hammer?

Much to my dismay it appears that the lapco phantom hammer doesn't work with the gargoyle trigger assembly on my phantom as the sear appears to sit a bit higher in the Lapco hammer than in the CCI one. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I'd love to hear a way to get these parts to work together if anyone has figured something out.

You can take a small metal punch (used to knock out the tiny roll pin that hold the sear and hammer together) and swap out the CCI sear with the Lapco one and you should be in business. Just don't loose the small spring under the rear of the sear.

I'll give that a try, hopefully I have a small enough punch somewhere, thanks!

You could also buy one from ASP with the proper sear already, or Splattttttt I belive ground down the Lapco sear to make it work on a Gargoyle.

The CCI sear swap won't work... see?

look at the difference between the two...

Grind the excess part of the Lapco sear so it looks like this when you're done...

And while you're at it, you're gonna have to mod the pump rod too. File from the inside of the fold, and not the elbow...

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

Thanks! Why do you need to file down the pump arm? Mine seems to fit without any issue into the Lapco bolt.

Then there's no need. Mine for some reason didn't fit.
