Adapter and barrel question

I thought I asked this somewhere before but I can't seem to find it.

The ID of the RTR barrel adapter is 0.697" according to the RTR site. Does this present any issues when using barrels with a smaller ID (which is most barrels), such as a 0.678 Eigenbarrel?

I am thinking about using the adapter to use a bored stock Phantom barrel and a 0.675 insert on my S6, but I am not sure if the "step" inside would be a problem.

Thoughts?

Smallest insert I have used so far is a .679 and I didn't seem to have any problems. Didn't break paint for sure.

I'm running with a .682 freak insert all the time without any problems.

I thought the barrel adapter was .679. I use a .675 insert with it and have never had a problem.

You have a gargoyle in Vancouver as well? When did you get it?

I got it around last December. I'm still trying to figure out how to aim this thing lol.

The ID of the Adapter is larger than that but the detents in it go down to .679
