Hey everyone, I am most likely going to be picking up a gargoyle soon and I have a few questions. First off How exactly does the barrel system work with the adapter and bushings. Second, what size bore is the stock barrel/adapter and is it standard to have the "dimples" which I assume are basiclly wedgits right? Do these use standard main and valve springs? And lastly what are these known to get efficiency wise?

Any other information would be greatly appreciated aswell, Thanks!

The bushings are smooth delrin that goes between the barrel and the pump handle, they help to smooth out the pump stroke.

Body is AC threaded and the adaptor which is I believe .69 (Dimples are basicly widgets and are standard go to about .679) allows use of the Phantom stock barrel (.686) which is one of the best stock barrels ever (the best single piece stock barrel IMHO)

Nelson or AC springs will work, it comes with CCI Nelson springs.

So without the adapter will any standard autococker threaded barrels work because I have read that only some barrels work?

Well its official, I am now a part of the gargoyle family. I just sent the payment for gargoyle 26 in the BST. I am looking greatly forward to its arrival. My only regret is that I was not able to support rodney directly but you never know what the future holds

Your only limitations will be what fits through the pump handle. There are larger ID bushings (Cocker bushings) that allow for more barrels to be used but last I knew they were out of stock (But being worked on)

There is a thread in here some place with a list started of what barrels work with what bushings.

So I got the gargoyle in the mail today and I am very impressed with it so far. There are so many small yet crutial fetures that make this gun so special. I can tell by simply taking it apart that this gun is made for a player and was designed by a player. I will update later when I get some play time with it. I freak bored a phantom barrel and I am using the Cocker adapter with widgets. They work fine together with no problems. FYI.
