So I played with it this Saturday. Made a big splash, everyone was asking what that gun was, saying how awesome it was. A few people even said it was the best looking pump they've ever seen. Impressive ![]() As for performance, it was just awesome. I played my A game, in and out of the center 50 off the break and owning the snake, depending on my mood. Shooting with this thing is just natural, and changing twelvies with the Boomerang is fast and smooth. Now I did have two issues. But first I'd like to clear the record on one thing. I thought initially that the anno ate out the threads in the valve where the quick strip goes and that an insert was necessary. After looking at my Phantom, which I let a team mate use, I noticed that there's supposed to be an insert there. So no problemo. The first issue I ran into was the bucket changer coming loose on occasion. The HULK, who is one of my other team mates, happened to have a few spare o-rings. I changed out for a seriously fat o-ring and no more issue. It actually guides the bucket onto the threads easier, so all in all it was a good fix. Thanks, Jim! The second issue was that the nylon insert came loose from the trigger, as I suspected it might. This happened towards the end of the day, so I'd put quite a few shots through it. It was just hot glued in place so I expected it to. I'm going to be changing my choice of adhesives here once I can make a run to the hardware store. The gun still shot, since the nylon insert was sandwiched by the frame halves, but it was a rougher trigger pull. Anyways, I'm going to fix it and see how that goes. But overall, I was extremely happy with the performance of the gun.

I never understood why the 12g changer would loosen so easily. Mine spun out once by a shot beleive it or not... That's when I decided to add a fatter oring on #23 also. Only I put it on the groove of the male adapter. Needles to say, it worked!

That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor. tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours. splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff... tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods. |
