My Gargoyle/Phantom hybrid...



I picked up the used pump, trigger frame with bucket changer and valve body here on MCB. Since the parts were in mint condition, I thought it would be cool to create a Garg/Phantom hybrid. Every part other than the RTR stuff is brand new from CCI - T-stock, barrel, feed tube, internals, ghost sight, etc., and it's all exactly matched in a dust-silver ano. I finished the gun off with old-school (and highly sought-after) grey Hybrid "stripper girl" grips.

The pump and trigger both glide like silk. The only thing left I need to do is add a SS hose with SS quick disconnect (which I prefer over the CCI hardline). Just a matter of ordering the hose, and the gun will be complete and ready to compete!

Pictures don't do this gun justice. The dust-silver ano is totally badass. Once completed, this gun will not only look awesome, but it'll have the precision performance of two iconic manufacturers. And, as far as I know, it's the only one like it in this ano in existence.

Sadly, as I have absolutely no room in my collection for one more custom gun, I'll be letting this beauty go. I would have loved to tune it, and play a few games with it, but I already have a buyer. If the sale doesn't go through I'll post it up here on MCB.
