Jesus Dude. Jesus. I mean. WTF Jesus.

Why?

SC purist or not, that's like taking a **** on the Mona Lisa and calling it impressionist.

If you wanted that, why not just put a Garg frame on an OC Phantom?

Lots of dislike in this thread...

Hmm, not my style, but I would like to see where it goes.

I'm not going to lie, I like it. I have someone working on something very much like it right now.

Why not just build an oc Phantom or throw an oc Phantom body on a Gargoyle? All the same reasons you buy a Gargoyle over a VSC Phantom.

Sacrilege? You bet.

Sorry Rodney, I know you aren't real keen on the idea, you did create the best SC gun I have ever used. I think it has OC potential too, and every now and then I have paint that I need to use up.

I know this idea for this style breech has been thrown around here before. I Shadow and I have talked about it a few times. I'm glad to actually see it done!

Would I do it to a Gargoyle.........Hell no, but that is me....

Looks great though!

I'd make a me a nice, solid, knurled knob to replace the feed tube. I think that would be nice. Or, alternatively, something milled to match the contours of the rest of the gun. You just have to clock the threads correctly.

I think it's a good idea, but it would be cooler if the feedneck were integrated into the block, thus making it a much lower profile. Though as is you do get a nice ball stack going.

And I agree, it's not my thing, but as long as you're not cutting up any original parts, I see no problem with it.

Shadow and I mentioned that. But thinking about it it would look weird if you wanted a clamping portion. The clamp ring would still have to be above. The breech design isn't very forgiving to an OC setup. It's kinda similar to Carters. You can get the offset or vert OC adapter but it mounts just like the SC tube.

Pretty good actually for how you made it that is for sure. Lots of work.

I'm interested to see how it looks when done.

Yeah, if it were clamping, using the standard ring style clamp wouldn't work. One would have to rethink the clamp design.

I was thinking about it. if one cut the clamping fingers I'll call them just on the side and made a dual bolt clamp that you tightened from the sides it would work. Not the pretties thing but it would work. The hopper would be clamped on the sides but it would still hold it.
