One week until Spring Pump Event....

Help please! I'm getting all of my gear ready for next weekend, for SPE, and just started having a new problem with good ol' 23. As soon as I screw in a fresh leland 12ie, air rushes out of the purge hole in the vertical air adapter. Any ideas?

oring that is on the asa side is maybe messed up and is not sealing so the air can go into the marker. pull the quick change and see how it looks.

I found with my gargoyle that the bucket changer would be screwed all the way in when it pierced the 12 gr so I couldn't snug it up anymore to get a good seal and so it would leak a little. To solve the problem I took a piece of paper clip and made a little ring and put it in the bottom of the changer to shim the 12 gr. I made it tight so it wouldn't fall out and problem solved. Maybe that will help.

is it venting before it seals are right before the bucket changer bottoms out? if it is leaking when the changer is bottomed out then it could be a slightly off length 12 grams that is not getting a full seal before the bucket is at full closed. the shim would help with taking out some of the gap that may be there with a shorter 12 gram.

I would think that with a Leland that this would not be an issue. I'll let you all know tomorrow.

Thanks again!

I was looking at mine and if the leak is at the purge hole then it is probably not going to help to shim the 12gr. It is probably the oring on the Asa side of the 12gr changer.

I would imagine a tank oring should work as it is Asa threaded.
