RTR Barrel adapter with dimple or without dimple Would an automag ULE body with a detent in it need an RTR adapter WITH or WITHOUT a dimple? I am guessing without; as, if the paintball is stopped by the detent in the ULE, a second dimple in the barrel adapter would either shred the paintball or at least throw it off course. Related question: would a barrel with a sizer insert system (freak, ccm) be compatible with the RTR adapter? thanks |
I've used freak inserts with my RTR adaptor without any trouble. I would go with one without dimples. It might bother only 1 or of every 1000000 balls but it would be the 1 that I really needed to hit the target. Just my luck |
I also use a freak bored barrel with the adapter ( dimpled ) without any issues. Since the mag already has a detent, I agree that theres no point in adding more obstacles in the path of the paint. I would go with the adapter without dimples. |
