| Newbie  Join Date: Nov 2008 | Announcement from ex-members of Team Thunderstruck
After much comtemplation and deliberation Liam "Lapdance" Helmes, Jud Cary, Mia Cary, Steven "Bonz" Verrett, and Bailey "Mouse" Verrett would like to announce our resignation from Team Thunderstruck. We wish the best to all of our former teammates and look forward to seeing them at events around the country. We will be hitting the field in the 2009 season with a new team and a new name. We will continue to play with the same level of commitment to excellence that we have always strived for We hope to see all of our friends at future Viper games, and other games of various scenario producers throughout the country More information to follow... |

This isn't meant to bring up past issues, but you guys were previously with Blitzkrieg correct? I think I've played with a few of you at an MXS game.

Jud Cary and Mia Cary were both members of Blitzkreig And I would never consider asking a question to be "bringing up past issues"  I dont know that I have ever had the pleasure of trading any paint with you Duzzy, but i hope I get a chance to see you out there sometime |

I want to say that I played with TB and Nudi at Shadowvale in KS oh so long ago. Mayhaps I'm mistaken though. Anyways, I know that team splits aren't always pleasant so I wanted to make sure it was clear that I wasn't trying to dig up dirt. |

I for one wish my former team mates the best of luck. For some it has been a long road, for others not as long but certainly fun. I am sure that your new team will do well in whatever you decide to do, and consider my gun to be there when it can be to support you guys in your new path. I am sure that the leadership portion of Thunderstruck will have an 'official' statement, but this one is from me. I leave you with this quote: “Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends.” Good luck!
