September 20, Firefly: After The Wave @ Paintball Zone North, TX

Scheduled for September 20th at Paintball Zone North, Houston, Texas!

The story takes place after Mal's "Wave Broadcast" of the info disc found on Miranda.
We are seeking two generals for the event. One to lead "The Independants", and one to lead "The Reavers". Standard General's comps will be issued to each commander. "Young guns" will figure into this game so commanders will need to recruit seasoned scenario players and young guns alike!

Jim and the Zone North guys are already in the process of changing up the field! If you're a "Firefly" or "Serenity" fan...you're not gonna want to miss this one!

$35 pre-reg - $45 day of game - air included
Paint $50 per case of 2000

If I have a job by then, or someone wants to buy me a registration and 100rds I'd be able to do it(unemployment sucks badly

Yeah no projects = no work, no work = no job sort've no paycheck but I really won't be laid off till september. Still on the job hunt though hoping to land something by August unemployement just doesn't cover it.

Well I may be wanting to NPC another game (if they would let me) I had a lot of fun at Monty Python game NPCing, Otherwise I have a nice 94 cocker I could sell you

that would cover it for sure.

I'll be interested to see who will be general's for this game. The SGC game was fun so I expect this game to be right up there with it.

Greetin's. This is Malcolm Reynolds, and here's how it is:

Reavers actin' up somethin' powerful. Got ‘em a warship we forgot and plowed clean through to Miranda. After the PAX, we conjure. That's how they plan to spread. River can feel that from here--sees what could happen. Makes her cry.

Something new about how they're workin', now. Command can't say for sure, but I can see it. Niska cost me an ear for a spell, but gave me some learnin'. Someone mighty smart is pullin' strings for the Reavers.

Takes an undue fuss just to bring one Reaver down. Now we got who-knows-how-many down there looking for the PAX. Shepherd, ‘fore he slipped, once said, “I got heathens aplenty right here." I miss his boring sermons.

Alliance, what's left of it, won't put any wood on the fire for this one. Parliament’s too busy pointin’ fingers and covering their tracks after the Wave called ‘em out. Already lost half a fleet fightin’ Reavers and still don’t ‘fess they lost five times our number in the Battle of Serenity. Big, slow, stupid. Don’t need their like for this one.

Back before the Surrender, all we wanted was life free from meddlin'. Now we need to take care of Alliance’s boogeyman all by our lonesomes. Their secret’s out, and it wants to eat us. This I cannot abide.

Command called me up to lead this one. Wanted the “Hero of Serenity Valley,” and all. Public relations, more like. Need some fighters, though. Maybe those old soldiers ‘still have their brown coats, maybe some want to be New Browncoats. (Fancy seein’ that!) You don’t need to be one of the old 57th. Just need the 57th in your heart. Those can shoot fast or slip through quietly, those can heal like Simon Tam, maybe lead green troops to be braver than ‘thought they could. Those who are WITH sin, and know best how to fight it. Those are the Independents who will take the field this coming day, stand firm against these lost souls we call Reavers, and send them forthright to The Special Hell.
