| Active Member | November 14-15, Greg Hastings returns for "Deadlands" Viper event, Mt Pleasant, TX
Just got confirmation that Greg Hastings will be coming to play at our "Deadlands" event in November. The last time he was at one of my Texas events we were still in Houston, so he's anxious to see our field up here. Blues Crew has had this event on their schedule all year as well. Sean Scott (Director of marketing and promotions for Smart Parts) should be here too. Last time I spoke to Rocky Cagnoni (last week) he was intent on coming down as well. Running the field with these guys should make this game just that much more fun! I don't get to play alongside many of my industry friends as often as I would like, so it's up to you guys to show them a good time on the field. They aren't paid employees this weekend, so they are free to have as much fun as they like! The event takes place in Mt Pleasant, TX at Viper Paintball's home field on November 14 & 15. You can find more details at Viper Paintball :: 26 Hour Paintball Events Just check the forums or click on "2009 Events" on the main menu! See you there! PS: Construction on the beer pong tables will start as soon as I get back from EMR. ![]() Last edited by Viper Paintball; 08-26-2009 at 06:14 PM. |

Viper Scenarios would like to invite you to our "Twilight Zone 09" event at Viper Paintball in Mt Pleasant, Texas (about 45 minutes west of Texarkana on I-30) on November 13, 14, & 15. The confirmed guest list includes Greg Hastings, Blue's Crew, Sean Scott, and others. "Smokin" Joe Stayback, owner/operator of Sherwood Forest, will be making the trip down as well. We’re still awaiting 100% confirmation from Rocky Cagnoni. There will also be players and teams traveling in from Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Florida, Oklahoma, and elsewhere. The Friday night party will feature a Texas Holdem tournament, and we are currently looking for a band to hire since we have a full stage to put them on. Construction on beer pong tables for the Friday night beer pong tournament (no alcohol allowed Saturday or Sunday) will begin shortly. (Must be of legal drinking age to participate) Viper Paintball has been producing scenario events from coast to coast for over 13 years at world famous venues like EMR and SC Village, as well as the annual "Living Legends" event at CPX Sports. Our home field in Mt Pleasant features over 58 acres of light woods, thick woods, hills, large trees, a creek with for bridges, a pond, and multiple two-story structures and other objectives. Plenty of free, grassy camping (no facilities) and is close to hotels, food, and shopping. The Early Bird deadline for the event is this Wednesday, October 14th. All Early Birds get a $5 discount, are automatically entered into a drawing for a brand new SP-1 marker from our friends at Smart Parts! Also, all teams of six or more than make the Early Bird deadline are automatically entered into a drawing for five cases of event paint from Procaps for use at the event! There will also be prizes from Tippmann, V Force, DXS, Save Phace, Python Paintball, Hammerhead Paintball, Ninja Paintball, Smokin Products, and many others! Participate in the “Find Viper” contest and you could win a brand new Angel A1 Fly from Angel Paintball Sports! Why would anyone in their right mind miss out on all that? I dunno! LOL You can find more info at viperpaintball.com [/img]

The plot from the Indiana game is going to carry over to this one, so if you're going to the Deadlands: Exodus game at Sherwood this weekend (play for me), expect to see the results reflected in the storyline down there. This game is going to have massive amounts of story and roleplaying, as well as a lot of relics and props to move the story along and add some excitement and ambiance to the atmosphere that you already get from a game with hundreds of people in attendance. The field has a little bit of something for everyone, from natural woods, to a wide creekbed, to a CQB killhouse and open plains. It's truly perfect for this kind of scenario. I would go for sure if I could, and crossing my fingers, I just might. BTW: It's yet to be determined whether the winner of the beerpong tournaments from Indiana will have to defend their title in Texas. But, if that person s also going to this game, I'll gladly harass them by posting their name here to be challenged.

Well I just mailed in my registration for this game I had to miss last years for family stuff but I managed to squeeze this one in on the calendar. Defiantly will be the event of the year for Texas based games. The Friday night potluck dinner and texas holdem tourney should be a blast. I know I'm cooking a pot of chili for Team Blackwatch's potluck donation.
