Pump Panda is the same weekend of my anniversary so it is out for me. If there is a local group going down for pump castle I think I might be in.

Well either way it doesnt matter. If enough people dont sign up for the castle game they will run P.P style game anyways. Def worth the trip EMR is a dream to play at.

Just as a matter of historical record, CC-XVI was an all-pump defense.
The semi attackers swore they would set a record for the shortest game.
They didn't.
And they had better than 4:1, closer to 7:1 by the numbers.
What can I say say? Attacking a castle full of pump players is suicide unless you have overwhelming odds...

That was the year before the first Pump Pandemonium, actually THE game that convinced EMR that pump play was good for the field and gave Pandemonium the opening that started the annual game that has gone on for 8 years so far.

Making Castle an all pump game will reduce the total number of players, and guarantee a drawn-out game of strategy vs tactics.
I don't see a downside to this.

I expect it will once again be up to us, the players, to promote and advertise this.
EMR has got the ball rolling (and I thank them) but it will be up to all of US pulling together to make this a great as it could be.

I'm up for it. Eagerly anticipating might be a better description.
But if we want it to really come together than we all need to help get the word out.
