The GI Sportz paint was very small...we measured some Friday evening immediately after we picked it up and it was in the .679-.681 range. I ran the smallest insert that my kit has (.684) and had a few double feeds in my Micromag. However, it didn't break in my 'gun and flew pretty straight considering how overbored I was. I was surprised at how well it shot, to be honest. I saw some leftover Valken in use on the field and longed for them to still be using it, however.

Yours was better than mine. The paint I had was not even close to round. We measured it around the equator and then across the poles. The seam area measures .679-.682. Across the poles it was only .637-.645. It was evident at the chrono station there was a problem before we measured it when there wer 20-25 fps velocity swings between shots.

We took a few of the paintballs and laid them on the table, they acted like Weebles (Link for the younger crowd). you could roll it up on one side as soon as you let it go it rolled back to the same spot every time.

I have a few pods of the Valken from last year and that was the only consistent paint I shot that day. It was larger so I had to take out my .680 insert and us ethe stock overbore barrel to avoid breakage but it still shot great.

I forgot my good glasses so I went without any due to fogging. I can't tell you how it shot. . Lost sight ofthe ball as soon as they left my 10rnd tubes. I had fett pointing out defenders for me.
But I can say at the Chrono I shot 275 275 275 275 after one 298 that I turned my stab down on.. best my Phantom had ever chrono'd. Wish I had my glasses to see the shots. Used a .677 insert.

The paint shot well out of my Classic May, however I did see the issues at chrono that Flounder mentioned! Tiny paint.
I must say I REALLY admire the brave souls that kept pushing the ramp at the corner of wall 3 & 4. We had that ramp locked down, but those paintball berserkers did not back down!
Good time at my first castle!
Congrats to Baconator!
The Defenders held for 5 hours and I was part of that!

My girlfriend didn't even play and she didn't like the paint. She was taking PICTURES, check them out!
I HATED the paint! I couldn't see it well. The Valken paint was so much better!

Those are some nice pictures. I even found myself sporting my new hair color.

Yep, 60 was the count I had. The odds were definitely stacked that year.

That's pretty accurate.

So who wants to see PICTURES from Saturday's game? (I ran around in the red iBite shirt, maybe you remember seeing me)
Anyways, check them out: Castle Conquest XXXV
And please remember, if you are going to use any of my pictures, please give me credit. Thank you. And enjoy.

Awesome, I love Castle pics.

PS - Excellent job defenders!

Hmm...

This one is me, this is my bro, and this is our crazy teammate.

We accept our modeling royalties in the form of cashier's checks, paint, Ecuadorian currency; you know, whatever's convenient.

And it must have been one of these friendly visitors who gave me this (nice shot, whoever it was!):

These are all some very nice photos you took; thank you for posting them! I hope you didn't get shot up too badly!

Thanks for the measurements. I got the same impression visually, although I was getting the odd ball that was a bit too tight for the .684. I ended up using a .687 in my mag for fear of breaks, and a whatever-the-stock-Line-SI-bore-is in my Bushmaster. Got lots of rollouts. I'd go back to paying $80 for Graffiti, I think.

Weebles wobble but they don't fall down!
