Looking forward to seeing it. Man I miss being there.

Carmatech Engineering owner David Williams and Cody
checking out the new SAR12 Sniper Rifle. Look for the
SAR 12 to help revolutionize the way we play paintball.

Stop and meet David and check out his new SAR12 for
yourself by stopping over to the Hammerhead Barrel

Yep, I can't wait to hear the updates from my dad.

The BT guys here at D-Day are awesome. They fixed my
combat 4, and didn't charge me, then they gave me a
replacement for my e grip. Great guys!!!! :-) :-)

Jeff Lange82nd Airborne Division

We added a new "Regimental Pennant" to our flagpole!
For those who don't recognize it, that's Scarecrows' beret
attached to the bottom of the flag. Should know better
than to leave it lying around HQ!

There are at least three Allied units and also an unknown to me (secret)
number of German units which strongly support family participation. It's
an excellent opportunity for family members to bond with one another
while at the same time teaching them something about the history of
WW II that they're not getting in schools any longer.

At the same time there are other units, on both sides, which are geared
strictly towards adults. Both sides maintain units which require you to
be at least 15 years old in order to join. Within these units there's also
a variety of sub-units which you can select from, depending on just
how hard core you are.

Wow, where has this week gone? Here we are
nearing the end of Day 4. Still time to check in
and see how things are going in the café, maybe
grab a cool bottle of water and see if you can
knock the clown into the dunk tank before you
grab a bite and gear up for tonight's madness.

Here's what I've been able to scrap up since
by noon time report. Just remember, you still
have time to get out to Wyandotte so you can
be a part of history instead of having to read
about it.

Matt Shook

Man, these things are cool.

Robert Horton (1500 hr)

101st continues to kick ***. "Operation Reach Around" complete success.
T.O.G. game this morning had no out of bounds and played for Pegasus
and Cherbourg Bridge. The 101st took the road on the west and huffed it
all the way around the airfield and back doored the Germans to Cherbourg
Bridge. We held that for about an hour with no reinforcements, then lost it
after the German reinsertion. Then we pushed east along Omaha, taking
St. Laurent and the bridge again with about 30 minutes left in game.

Thursday updates

Here we are Thursday afternoon, just a few hours
away from the start of tonight's 'Night Game.' It's
not like any other night game I've ever see, in part
because it's played under a constant bombardment
of aerial bursts and parachute flares. Add to that a
swirling cloud of orange smoke and flickering hand
flares which cast just enough light to confuse those
not used to playing at night. Just another reminder,
there's still time to get yourself out there in time for
the start of the big event. Don't be content to sit
there reading my posts, join the Allies as they try
to beat back the Germans, or join the Germans as
they try and push the Allies back into the sea. Be
a part of history..

I hope we represent the Commonwealth well!

Travis Posey, CO 82nd Airborne Division

Wednesday – V2 Rocket – Spoiler Alert – Allies win it
back to back with Seeker from the 505th blowing the
bomb. This was the first game of the week we fielded
all 4 Regiments. On the field the 82nd AB was well
organized and working together very well as Regiments.

First Game; We were tasked with our favorite spot, the
maze and we owned it. After completely locking it down
it was clear due to the location of the V2 we were going
to have to cross the east road and penetrate their woods
and drive them out. First push gave us a great foothold
with 20 troops but the Germans drove us out because
they used and area the ref declared out of bounds to
us earlier. 82nd regrouped, pushed again created and
'All American Hammer' that sent the Germans running
out of the wood from us. Using Fire and Maneuver
and violence of action we cleared the entire woods
and moments later we won the game.

Second Game; We switched sides, we now started at
the bottom of the hill to the east of the rocket. Hard
chargers up front we were at the truck and arming the
bomb before the whole unit could make it up the hill, lol.
Seeker again blew up the truck winning the game in
record breaking time. The two keys to victory,
communication and connection, were done extremely
well. I've been saying it all week, I feel sorry for any
German who is at the objective we are taking, they won't
hold it for long and they will be visiting the dead zone
shortly.

Game day

It's Saturday morning, June 15th, D-Day in
Wyandotte, Oklahoma and everyone is up
early. Time for preparations is over, now it's
time to gear up for another epic battle.

Over in the 101st and 82nd Airborne units
players are getting ready to be dropped behind
enemy lines. The 899th 'Blackcat' Tank Destroyer
Battalion checks their bazookas and makes sure
their water bladders are full. It's going to be a
long hot day of hunting and they don't want to
be caught short.

Across the camp grounds German players are ready
to go, as they get to take their positions ahead of the
Allies. Duce and a half trucks and buses line up, so
players can load up, while in the background the now
familiar sounds of tape playing Robin William's shouting
"Good Morning Vietnam," trumpets across the camp
area through loud speakers.

As the trucks and buses pull out and the dust swirls,
columns of Allied players march from their camps to
the disembarkation point. Some get to ride while others
who start closer, hike off into the woods to take up their
designated starting positions.

Here's some updates from late yesterday, as well as a
brief clip showing what you missed if you didn't get a
chance to stop by and check out RAP4's store this year.

Wiley Meade - Germans

RAP-4 Patrick gives you a tour of the store.

RAP4 Armory DDAY 2013 - YouTube

Kris Wood 325th GIR

Matthew and Paul Wood arrived today at D-Day, saw
all of you in the parade but had gun issues, so spent
most of our time at Tippmann. Went by the tent by all
were gone? See you in the a.m.

Deangelo Reyes 327th GIR Bastogne Bulldogs

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!!

Andy Wofford German Supreme Commander

Tomorrow I go to war with what I would call the greatest
paintball army in the world...for the last time as the German
Field Marshal and it's bitter sweet. Win or lose, it will be a
great day because the German army as a whole is a family.
Now get out there and kill them all. Over and over again.
Oklahoma D-Day 2013!

Adam Schaefer German Army

As I walk through the valley of death and stare at the Allied
horde I feel no fear. I look to my left and right and see my
friends. Both old and new. I feel sadness at the faces I do
not see. Comrades that have been with me from the start,
that are no longer here.. I stand alone, the sole combatant
of the original group. But I am not alone for they watch over
me and those that are standing with me now, lending their
strength and protection even though they do not stand at
our sides. May we all be victorious and honorable on the
field today as we remember those that are not with us. I
will see all my friends of old for it is now time for the last
of the old guard to make a finale stand. May you all be
successful, honorable and a pain to the enemy my friends.
I will see you on the field when the day comes. Andy Wofford,
Alex Merritt, Daniel Garrett, Roy Burger, Ted Sharsmith,
Paul Fechtmeister, Eldon Cowgur, Taylor Siegert, Trevor
Siegert, Chuck Webb, Chris Reid, David Reid, Bonez and
many others I can't list now.

Matt Shook

Dye is getting serious. Great air ball games tonight.
Tomorrow is the real battle. Time for bed.

Deangelo Reyes

Tomorrow I will be fighting a 10hr battle with the 327th
against a few thousand players.

*Be safe everyone Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!

Aubrey Estavuan Davidson aka 'Dutch'

Some shots from D-Day 2013. More to follow.

Not sure if any of the 'pros' snipers I tried to recruit
made it or not, but I believe we did have 3-4 SAR12
shooters on hand. If that's all we had it wasn't for lack
of trying to recruit more.

Still waiting for the AARs to reach me to determine
just what sort of impact they may have had.

Sincerely,
