| Newbie Join Date: Jan 2008 | June 9th-15th, anybody can arrive on the 8th (Sunday) and camp, explore the field, meet your unit, or whatever. Games start Monday morning too. In the Rangers/Airborne you must be there by Wednesday and complete the obstacle course to be able to play in those units. Most people don't join the special forces units their first time at D-Day since they are all seasoned scenario players and most of them have been going to D-Day for a long time. As for the RV and hotels, there are RV places on site that you can use though they are all filled up. You may however still bring an RV and park in the camping area, though you should get there early in the week so you can have a place to park it at your convenience. There are some hotels 15-30 min drive from the field but most people see camping as part of D-Day. It's much more then a 1 day event. And of course, we would be more then happy to have you and your team in the 899th and we would be able to keep you together in the same squad if you wish. There's no better rush in paintball then facing an enemy tank! Let me know if you have any questions I'd be glad to answer them |

In the Airborne and the Rangers they want the best of the best in their units, and the ones that are in top shape to be sure they will be able to keep up with their very physical challenging objectives. The 1st ID lands on Omaha beach, which is a steep hill in woodland with lots of trees and rocks. At the top there are trenches and a large bunker for the Germans. The 899th lands on Utah beach with the 4th ID and the 2nd Armored Division (we get to see tanks from game on until the days over!). Utah beach is not as steep as Omaha and is clear and open except for the bunkers and trenches, there are no trees on the beach like Omaha has. Allies rush to take the trenches, and from there we work our way up and take the flag claiming Utah beach. For 2008, Utah beach is being built on and will be better then ever. This was one of the best parts of the entire week, here some videos of Utah at game on: YouTube - OK DDay 2007 YouTube - Paintball - 2007 Oklahoma DDAY Game Brimstone - Great job on 11 tank kills! I don't know the record, but I'm sure that's way up there. We could use your elite anti-tank skills in the 899th. If you would want to join us in 2008, we would be grateful to have you with us. |

| Newbie Join Date: Jan 2008 | Can you hunt like a Sniper? Can you roam and move like an Airborne? Can you think and react like a Ranger? Can you charge like the 1st Infantry or 4th Infantry? If you answer yes to all four questions - then you might have the makings of a tank destroyer! Come join the Allied Anti-Tank unit the 899th Tank Destroyers! -- the Black Cats! Be part of making OK D-day history and join the newest (and a critical) Allied unit. I promise you will not be bored and will have the best paintball experience of your life! If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to PM Kahnif or myself! |

Well, you can not go wrong with either the 1st ID or the 899th. The two units with the toughest jobs at D-day and as such need the toughest most dedicated players. If you have any questions about either the 899th or the 1st ID contact me. | |
