Oklahoma D-Day Allied Anti-Tank Unit

899th Tank Destroyer Battalion, the “Black Cats”

Join one of the newest units to hit the beaches at Oklahoma D-Day this year and experience the paintball event of a lifetime. We are looking for experienced players to fill the roles of Anti-Tank gunners, support, and artillery to destroy the German 21st panzer division. The 899th Tank Destroyer Battalion is part of the 2nd Armored Group fighting alongside the 2nd Armor Division and the 8th Army Air Force.

The 899th has everything Oklahoma D-Day has to offer. We land on Utah beach alongside the 4th infantry division and fight our way through the airfield and take Coleville, the German HQ. We destroy tanks, airplanes, bunkers, buildings, APCs, command cars, and German heavy artillery along the way.

Contact myself or any of the Black Cat members if you would like more information or you can read up on D-Day at

D-Day Adventure Park - Home

Hope to see you there!

Will they limit your AT ammo hours before the game starts? Change the rules 2 weeks before the event, have to lose time and money scrambling to get stuff ready? Try to make it one sided in the Germans favor... again? Give the actual prize that you "win" for shooting the most tanks (not just say we will mail it to you and never do)?
Will there be more refs? Better rules at orientation where the ref doing the video knows what he is doing?
If the rules change it would be best to change the video as well.
As well as if they stop worrying about the money and make the game flow it would make it better...... till then .......... I'll have to pass there chief.

I'll wait till Bill Bailey comes back to Texas again.....He is the only real reason I liked to go to D-day anyways.

AT ammo was set at 200 for the day, I never heard about it changing. Which rule was changed that you are talking about? If they made it one sided in the Germans favor, then why did the Allies take victory in 2007? The Allies have 5 wins and the Germans have 5 wins tied up at 5-5. Commanders from all units have meetings during the summer and winter to discuss how the game flows and adjust rules accordingly. I believe you have to be there to claim the prize, and as I was there after the game in the crowd and I'm sure I remember somebody getting the prize for most tanks eliminated. There was a good amount of refs there that I saw.. I always had one nearby and in sight.

If you didn't like it that's fine, you don't need to be complaining about it in a recruiting thread and you can go to a D-Day discussion topic and people will gladly talk about it with you.

Good to hear Charley_Foxtrot! Are you running with us again? Hope to see you there

No Thanks, I said/asked what I needed to know, No need to go to another forum.
I guess you need to go to more than one, to know how bad it has gotten. Didn't realize I was talking to a newbie about the AT division at D-day, the whole fiasco the past 4 years

Have a nice day ..... Good luck at your "recruiting".

Thanks, we're one of the newest units at D-Day, AT division for the allies started last year, so 2008 will be our second year. The panzerjagers have been around longer, so you would have to talk with them about your complaints or ask any of the members who have been around for longer.

Swampy, a lot of people can't come because of their jobs and D-Day being a whole week event. A lot of people take vacation days off, and they think it's well worth the trip.

Coolin...... Didn't want you to think I meant any offense to you.
We caused to much of a ruckas as the 82nd weapons company AT unit.... kept changing rules and finally forced us to go else where.

Good luck to you......Hope you do well again
