I guess I'm opposite of Misfire. I also "pick and choose" what I can afford to attend and I figure this is going to be one of the best games Colorado will see for quite some time. Just look at the teams that are showing up, we have players coming from as far as TX. I really don't worry about the field, I've travelled alot farther to play other games on fields that can't compare to Agate.

You are kinda correct Al... it is a Cow Pasture... but I figure you only get so many chances to play with 200+ of the best players in the nation I'm going for quality over quantity.

^ Yeah but for twice as much I could fly out to castle once again, or as Ian said play multiple other games (which is what I meant by "elsewhere") Or that money would go a long way in my paintball camping trailer

Well I'm in. Looks like the green team for now. Gotta go with my BLC buddies.
Al or Misfire, I'd really like to get a C4 patch if possible.
Pm me if you have any to sell, thanks.

As of now it appears 90+% of the CO players are Siding with Wedge.

My Team CPF will be Following Mother!
Here's a pic of me with Wedge (on the left, I'm on right), we are college buddies. He'll be a superb general, and I'll be in Colorado that weekend for my sister-in-law's graduation, I may just stop by on Sunday!:

I'm planning on being there, although Fledgling is kinda peeving me off with their forum, since I've attempted to register twice in the last 2 months and can't get them to set my account up, nor do they have a "Contact Us" on their website I'll probably pre-reg this weekend, not sure which side I'll go for since I'm going solo.

At least they finally posted the GRSP again but unfortunately a lot of the rules are "or whatever the field allows". I was hoping not to have to bring 10 markers (or end up playing pump all day) since I don't know if the field allows .43, full auto, etc etc.

oops

Sorry for the late reply, I forgot I had asked for you...

Contact Big Easy about your log-in problems: BigEasy@sogtacsim.com

I guess the fledgling site has been over-run with spammers and they've been having some issues sorting out who-is-who.

Per Jim on Rules:

Quote:
The game is FPO, so only.68 cal paint is allowed. Ask any scenario player what happens when you are hit by non-event paint.

The velocity is 285 fps day, 250 fps night.

Semi and ramping is allowed, full auto is NOT allowed. Three shot burst is not allowed.

We changed our insurance and the new insurance allows ramping. I used to use ramping with my old Russian Legion, I could fire faster on semi mode than with ramping.

Ramping is for daylight play only and only at Agate because Agate is an open field with most of the play being at longer ranges. Ramping will be capped at 15 bps.

And that is subject to change.

Thanks for the info. Pretty much what I expected on the FPO. RoF rule is annoying though...I can't use select fire at maybe 12bps on a limited paint mechanical marker, but people with a $100 electro can ramp 15bps to their heart's content? Dumbass insurance companies Guess that narrows down my options on what to bring for markers at least.

I hear ya Mayvik.... but it is what it is

I still can't figure out how my Angel can get 14 BPS out using a Rev? According to the what the old girl says I got 14 out but the Rev is at a 12 bps cap so it can't do that? (must be a great stack?)

I've come to the conclusion that I just go out and have fun.

I had to get the "word" from the man (Jim) about the off caliber stuff. I didn't know that that stuff was still around - too bad it's not allowed

Got an email from Jim also after I sent one to Big Easy. As expected, it's an insurance issue. Sucks, but what can you do. Maybe I'll just be "that guy" that brings a pump to a scenario, heheh

Go for it! I always bring a pump to Scenarios. Heck if I even use a gun at all its generally my pumps. I save semis and the like for final battles.
