| I do NOT exist! | Hey Guys Fledgling Scenarios is putting on a game in Agate Colorado. Looks like it is going to be a BLAST! Generals are... Greens: (Corporate/Terraformers) Jason "Wedge" Fullmer Reds: (Rebels/Environmentalists) Diane "Mother" Howe As of now it appears 90+% of the CO players are Siding with Wedge. My Team CPF will be Following Mother! 50$ PreReg or 45$ if 5 or more players register together. Fledgling allows instant Registration on their site. So whos up for a trip to Colorado? More information can be found here... http://fledglingscenarios.com & Fledgling Scenarios :: View topic - Red Mars

| I looked on the site there and I might have missed it, but around how many people are expected to attend? And are there structures/buildings? EDIT okay I registerd on there forums, As soon as Im aproved Il ask over there. My concern is, from looking at what photos are available, is that this is a small (maybe 2 acre) speedball like field with a base at each end. I serioulsy hope Im wrong. Basicly I talked to Chris and the conclution is that if this is just some small feild, we wont be dishing out the cash to go. However if its a decent sized feild that is partialy forested, we will apply for time off and go from there. Last edited by Al Ray; 02-12-2008 at 11:59 PM. |

| I do NOT exist! | Having never played the field or a Fledgling game before I posted your question on their forum. I do know Fledgling is run by some great guys I have played with and against in the past. I also have met the Green general and know the Red general. =) So it should be a killer game regardless! I will post any answers here. One thing I do know from talking to my buddy Panzer (XO for the Green side) is that the field is a Farm that only opens for Scenarios and Big events.

| Newbie | Yup The field was once in normal operation but has been shut down for a few years, they open up for the two Fledgling events, Spring & Fall. The closest "real" town is Limon CO. There is a large open field for camping right next to the field of play. Kinda hard to explain but here goes: There are trees that line the boundaries forming a large u shape with the open end of the u facing South (generaly). A creek runs along the North side of the field. The center of the field has two large ponds with roads circling them (great for the tanks). On the south side of the ponds is a small village with structures. South of the village is wide open, just a few small bunkers. The bases are normally at the east and west ends. Except for the banks around the ponds the field is flat (cow pasture). There are small bunker complexes in the tree-lines. With the ponds in the center there are 2 main choke-points. The area near the field entrance between the ponds and the creek, and the village. The narrow causeway between the ponds is also a hot-spot. It's a fairly open field so there's alot of shooting. I'll see if i can scare up one of the old game maps- Well, I think my game maps are on my home comp - but here's a link to Haingernaid's photo-album Attack on the Hive, BattleGround Time, and Earth Ender were all at the Agate field: photos

| Newbie | gonna be a good one! Thanks Tal! I guess I should add: With Mother of MXS as a General, this will probably be THE EVENT for Colorado in 2008! I think the game will be pulling in more out-of-staters than any previous Fledgling event, and they always have a decent turn-out. Oh if anyone cares 10th Mtn is going Red (with Mom) too!
