Well, that was an example of refs not knowing the rules, as you are not supposed to be able to "snipe" the pilot of a moving helo.

However, it's also stereotypical of the sniper's role, and situation. There will be a very limited supply of "sniper shots" (they must use one each time they shoot...one shot, one "kill") so they can't just run around saying "bang bang" and eliminating 30 players. They are also limited on how many they can carry, and only snipers can carry them (no "ammo mules").

All of that being said, I haven't been told by anyone that they are really that big a nuisance. As I stated; if they use one of their limited number of "sniper shots" to take you out you must have been really causing them problems. The usual targets are commanders, field commanders, guys with Nerf launchers, medics, or the guy who is in the one bunker that has a shot on everyone and is keeping them from moving up. lol

Don't get the idea that I had a bad time at my last game with you, Viper. Quite the contrary, it was a blast.

As to the snipers and airstrikes, I do understand the utility of all that and I am gonna guess that someone was abusing that system at Legends. I can't believe, otherwise, that I would have been worthy of so many sniper shots. I got taken out twice by a "sniper", twice by an airstrike and once by a tank that shot a bunker that I was standing nearby.

Craig Palmer was also taken out twice by a sniper card. Maybe it would be cool to have to hand the sniper card or the bullet to the guy who gets eliminated by it. Maybe punch a hole in it or something to show that it is spent.

Anyway, I would not hesitate to play another Viper-organized game, even with snipers and air assaults, etc.

Keep up the good work, KR
