I wish I could afford the gas to go and the paint to play. I was offered a free pass into the game. Hopefully they run it again next year.

I use my regular 200 round belt setup and then since I'm going to be based at the Alamo on sniper defense, I'll bring 2 of my SPPL mulepacks out with me to stash. These are some sweet little packs I found from Mesa Motorsports for less than $20!



They go on a shoulder strap and are easy to ditch in the base, so if you'd like I can spot you one for extra ammo.

I'll go straight harness for 'BlackHawk Downs'(Pilot Smith!) and night play.

I'm going to get a sweet photo of my $100 pistol with a $350 taclight and a $300 russian nightscope on it.

WOW,
that's all I can say, just WOW.
Deacon and the scenario team Delta Ops did a WORLD class job running this scenario, in spite of an unexpected influx of people that left both teams out of ID cards!!!

The teams were 125 to 415 and... WE RANGERS LED BY 400 POINTS AFTER 6 HOURS OF PLAY AT THE DINNER BREAK, HOOOAH!!!

I had to play 'bunny in the bushes' as the wounded pilot for our 'Blackhawk Down', Due to a snafu with the radio channels, I ended up finally getting my tail safely off the field 4 minutes before the deadline at 41 minutes from the crash! However that unexpected crawly, hidey was more than my knee could handle and I didn't get to play the evening session, though I did get plenty of action in the day, obviously with those team ratios.
One of our captains on the Great Lakes Rangers and a member of the old A5OG, Beaker, was the Ranger General. In addition to keeping all the many teams and medics and such where they were supposed to be, he cleaned out 36 people in one insert in the night game! Using chemlights for getting hit makes it easy to count things up and those white village buildings make a great backstop in the dark, he said.

I don't know what the final score was, but I'm ready to preregister for next year RIGHT NOW!!!

I was next to beaker in the village, i wouldnt be suprised if it was more than 36
Somehow the Somolians didnt know that we where behind D1 spindles and they kept running past us. After Beaker got finally got hit, it was just me and this other player who was guarding the tapeline. He even shot a Somolian who was right on the other side of the spool. Anyway he eventually got shot and by that time I was completely surronded by them so i poured in a 10rd, ran across the road to D3 and unloaded on three of them through the doorway. Im glad they made the chrono 250FPS for the night game.

The night play was kind of interesting, I even ended up holding off a group of reinforcement Rangers with the pistol. In my defense, they shot at me first.

The most amazing thing was that for the first time my legs didnt hurt the next morning, so I stayed for the morning open class.

I got to try out my HONED barrel too. At first i was a little skeptical but the difference is amazing. And for some reason it seemed to have solved my velocity jumps. Better consistency and accuracy in one.

In spite of being unfamiliar with scenario play, especially at the overwhelming odds we faced, you took on the difficult role of Medic and performed with distinction. Our fellow MCBers would've been proud to see you crawling into a hail of full-auto fire, pistol holstered to extract a wounded comrade, only to come out moments later, gun blazing with a healed Ranger(sometimes me!!) at your side, GREAT JOB!!!

It was a great game! I am so glad a buddy backed out and I got his Ranger spot... There was no shortage of targets to shot at. We were vastly out numbered and out gunned almost everywhere we went, but we held out own when we needed to.

And the night play was very different... I desided to camp 20 feet off the main road with the minimag and rainshield after putting on the 3D camo; and picked off targets as they went by.

I will not miss this event next year, that is for sure!

It had some flaws but overall a good game. Was not properly prepared for the4 night game and will be preregging next year for Americans.
