My day started out suckey. Went through three pumps before I got one that worked, even though I tricked them all out on Friday. The gods must have hated me.

The game was fantastic, the sportsmanship was even better. Great to see PCP there and catch up on old times. Loved watching Hop-Sing and his pump "Ramping" (he is insanely fast with a pump, six to eight balls per second) did a lot of role playing with Big D, ask Anjin about me hanging about with him (I wish I had a knife) and just had a lot of fun with good players.

For those who sweated there tuckus off, we brought not one but two pools!

TAW is trying to have more pump only games, but he needs our help. This game was small and he lost his shirt, in fact it was almost cancelled. The only way he can run games like this is to have paying players show up. Next time lets get the word out so we can have more.

50 to 60 topps plus it was hot and kinda smokey sooo players took breaks. I'd say 30 were in the final battle and raffle (great prizes props to ccm)My sons first scenario and we went through 4 cases 8 pods in the final battle a piece!!!!
Maybe TAW could run a big game or pump weekend what will be cheapest for a promoter or field owner???I would go again no questions asked!!!

More players would be great. They really need over 100 to make it close to worth it money wise.

Good thing about few player at the end is the prize giveaway. I got a CCM pump kit, a really sweet Karnage pod pack and a Trilogy. (I gave back the Trilogy to give away to someone else... I got too many guns)

Other team mates got prizes as well like CCM pump kits, CCM rails and a sizable CCM gift certificate!

You have to ATTEND the games and prize drawings to WIN people! Let's get more players out to these events and keep them going!

That was one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. Playing against and hanging out with Fatal Paint was a blast. HurtCow is just as weird in person as I expected he would be. It has been a long time since i played a scenario like that, and it was lot's of fun.

Field paint was a bummer (i'm kinda picky about that stuff), but nothing I couldn't live with.

Cooling off down in the river was nice. cold water

Art was OK after we took him to the hospital. He sucked down two IV's and we went on our merry way. I was back at my doorstep around 7:30 Monday morning. Work was hell Monday and I slept 10 hours that night (hence the delay in the post).

Hopefully TAW sets up a few games further south

Laterz

They used to do games in Escondito and Jungle island, but that time has passed

Well I may be weird, but you're short, and I can at least act normal.

Very glad to hear this. He gave us all a scare... the Northern California heat, humidity and crazy SMOKE for this weekend was a killer on all of us. Next game will have clear air and pleasant temps. This I decree.

All I'll say here is... this great guy had a... "problem." Since he took in so much I.V. in the hospital one can assume it was probably heat/dehydration related. I, however, am not a doctor and am only speculating.

This is really not the place to discuss another's medical issues. Let's leave it at that and thankfully he's OK.

However... PUMP SCENARIOS ROCK!
