Official commander announcement for Weird War II Labor Day weekend at EMR

Our first commander is a member of one of the most well known team in the northeast. He’s been playing paintball for nine years, and scenario for eight of those and traveling to events throughout the northeastern region. He enjoys focusing on planning and coordination but, being a well-rounded player, he also enjoys demo and medic roles.

Leading the Allied forces is Dustin “PsYco” Farrell of Delta Paintball!

Our second commander has been playing paintball since 1984. He has been playing scenario paintball for over ten years, but has plenty of tourney experience as well. He’s played paintball with many teams in many places across the globe, but his favorite place is still EMR Paintball with his “family” where he is captain of one of the most infamous paintball teams in the northeast, and a home team at EMR. He’s involved as a player and as a businessman, and sees himself as “more ambassador than player.”

Leading the Axis forces is none other than Joseph “WideGuy” Martinez of Team Voodoo!

The Allied forces will start in EMR's famous "Castle Aaarrgh" in the south.

The Axis forces will be starting in "Fort Worr" to the north.

Commanders will swap bases Sunday morning.

Is it too late to request a field layout that hasn't been played religiously for the past 7 years?

How 'bout a little Firebase VooDoo up the hill to Castle Numbskull with the Castle Aaarrgh as a center point of control???

Viper, if it's not your call... consider the request withdrawn.

It's not Viper's call as much as it is Blue's. You got to talk to Mike!

although I remember the big game up there I commanded when 85% of the field was in play, and the bases were Rat's Nest to the Firebase, that was a hike was it not Belz?

Sorry Ballz. THat wasn't really a reply to you as much as a general announcement.

However, logistically that would be a long hike for the players playing the back base. By playing Fort to Castle it keeps the distances pretty well even. Both sides even get a little taste of "up sux."

Balz will probably use the golf cart anyway. I might switch this game out instead of Castle but who knows what sort of freedom I will have.
