10..I love that you just have to twist what I say...really do you own a hand held? or do you just sit and rip everyone else. I am speaking as a player , you remember I am one, have been for a long time. Like Harb said we all try to make a difference in different ways. Way to go to point a finger than take a portion of responsibility.

and I do agree Every Ref should have a hand held...off the top of my head 95% have them supplied and the other 5% have purchased their own, made available by the company.
Haha been on this forum for a while...I just don't post much on any of them...gives me a rash

see you all soon
Kisses!

Just finished putting my tool box together.....I tagged all the tools I expect to see flying around the tables with white tape so on Sunday when the storm subsides I can find all my crap asap and go back and pass out. That took some time too! Next up is my boxes and bags of random parts/crap....this is going to take a while. Then I have to pack up the A/V stuff and hope I didn't forget anything, plus I still have to remember to take stuff out of my work truck before I leave it at the office tomorrow. Plus I still have to locate the camping stuff and pack some clothes. I will definitely try and get this crap done EARLY next year, godamn this is getting irritating.

No sleep for the weary....

Edit: I have had my own handheld radarchron since I was 17 and running my own outlaw games in the woods not to far from my house.

Here is their Craigslist add.
The field is AAA Paintball Park in Constantia NY. Charlie is the owner.
I'm not sure who is handling the registrations though.

Yea, I have work in the morning and don't get off till about 2pm if I'm lucky. Hopefully I will get all the stuff set up in time to actually get some sleep. Stop by the table, were under the tourney pavilion this year which is a nice change.

Nyxx:

"I love that you just have to twist what I say..."

lol, seriously it was pretty clear you where totting the same tagline as last year :P

"really do you own a hand held? or do you just sit and rip everyone else."

You'll notice I don't get in players faces when they don't own a handheld. See when I go to a field, vs. say a backyard of some sort, and pay an entry fee and an increased margin on paint I expect a couple things. Call me wacky but I expect first and foremost refs that are organized, motivated, and have the resources/power to do thier job.

I'm not even one of the people who thinks every single ref should have a hand crono, I've personally never been to a field where that is actually the case. I don't even rip on fields with subpar reffing ability. As I told you to your face (granted I had no clue who you where which made it hilarious) saftey levels have gotten so bad at Skirmish that someone is going to bloody die there. We both know two people came very close to kicking it last year.

The fact your not answering me "yes we will be having medical staff (IE meat wagon) on hand" tells me your not really taking last year seriously. That along with the fact Skirmish has never taken anyone seriously for a substantial period of time when saftey has gotten horrendous. I wouldn't be suprised if at most your shaving off 500 players and just not inflating your attendance stats, like everyone and their brother does.

"I am speaking as a player , you remember I am one, have been for a long time."

So you have absolutly no vested financial intrest in Skirmish? LOL.

"Way to go to point a finger than take a portion of responsibility."

Are you going on the whole "if you don't help us make our massive game better than it's on you" thing seriously? As I said, your a great bloody indicator.

"off the top of my head 95% have them supplied and the other 5% have purchased their own, made available by the company."

So 100%, no lets be a little fair 85% of your refs will have handhelds? That's a pretty bold statement. But it's rather irrelevant if, as always at Skirmish, refs arn't allowed to eject people from the field.
