Just for the record, I've seen refs eject players before. In fact one time it was Mr Rich Moreland himself. I just think it needs to happen more often.

lol no, it's three black marks on your wrist band. They can be accumulated through cheating, taking your mask off, shooting hot, etc.

Unfortunately I never see it very strictly enforced.

If anyone feels like reading the stupidity, here's a link to the troublemaker's first post. It's rather reflective of the type of players Skirmish seems to get stuck with for these games.

Well I am done here going to the field to set up...
There is alot of changes and that is all I am going to say..and yes there is an ambulance on site as well as a team of medical staff.
as for wiping, they will be removed, and it is 2 black marks. The one thing I will say is alot more happens than you see..we do things quietly as not to disrupt game play.

Last year I got a black mark on my wristband for shooting hot. My A-5 had been chronied at 275 fps earlier in the day but was up to 315 by the afternoon. The ref told me that he "didn't want anyone shooting hot on [his] field." I left the game and bought an expansion chamber for my A-5. Ever since then, I've chronied at about 260-something fps ever since, just to make sure I don't shoot hot as the day heats up.
To be perfectly honest, that incident impressed me. That ref was actually doing something and deserves to be commended. If Skirmish has more refs like that this year, the game is gonna be a whole lot better.
I'll bring you guys a report when I return.

Glad to hear it Nyxx, I'm looking forward to seeing the changes implemented. If there's anything I can do feel free to let me know.

I've seen similar incidents. I had a team mate one year who lost his velocity screw out of his tippmann and a ref got him. Glad to hear it does happen more often.

I too will be giving my review of the game when it's over. Hopefully we'll both have good things to say.

I knew it was coming though. I got about 5 phone calls within an hour after it ended and was the only mod not at the game, boy did that suck.
