There it was, a shiny new Grey Ghost and it for sale. I asked them about it and apparently no one had shown any interest in it up where you guys are from. It was not cheap but its SOOOO nice. I had one of them walk back to the tech table with me and the first ball I shot down the range was 280. I walked back to him and handed him the money and that was that. Definitely my big score for the weekend. Ghost #288 is all mine, woohoo!

The one thing I wish I could have taken home with me is the giant mallet that we had behind the tech table. If you saw a big guy in black walking around the beach right at the start of the invasion with a mallet that was me. I wanted to play whack-a-mole with people removing goggles but sadly I never got the chance. One of the ref's up there made it and loaned it to us for the weekend, thanks dude.
Thanks Les for fixing my Traccer / Maverick, The Epoxy Held up and I used it the whole weekend!.

DarkNinja, I saw you with that mallet. I didn't know it was you. I also heard about you buying a Grey Ghost, too. Some long-haired, skinny guy told me you bought it. I don't know if anyone saw me, but I was running wearing either a woodland or ACU boonie hat. I was using my VSC Phantom most of the time but used my PGP for both Castle Nights and Saturday night.

Did I maybe pound fists with you while you were walking off the field near the allied base Sunday morning?

I ref. I bust my rear. Not every ref is the same. You know when you have a good one, one who is hustling to take care of you and make your day, above the norm. I try to give that level of service everytime. Many refs are content to the basics, and you should know the difference between the two. I tip refs who hustle it for me like I move it for my groups. My groups include walk on players and private parties. I make no distinction between either. All get that service from me. Remember that the next time you get a ref who is more like a tree than a person, and think about how you would have rather had "joe hustle".

Coming from the guy I had to yell at for weeks to drop 10 bux for a premium membership

I always tell refs they can eat my food, drink my drinks, hang out, etc; we even offer to make store runs for them. My earlier post was more about tipping being like bribing and that the field owner/producer should be paying enough.

lol I was wearing a wife beater and red suspenders and it was because you were playing stock class. I was reinserting to fight in the woodsline and saw you walking with your pump and said "hell yeah stock class" and we pounded fists.
