LOL That is kind of funny when you sit there an think about it. The refs wanted a 5 minute smoke break and they made some kid take a dive for them. j/k Those people who did in fact put any medical tech in danger should be ejected from the field. That is stupidity right there.

That incident last year was discussed in great detail following the game and the rules this year should state that if a Ref blows his whistle, all players in the area are to plug/bag their barrels and take a knee. Hopefully this was added. I'll be checking to see if the suggestions myself and others made last summer were upheld.

That is a good idea. There should be a freeze zone. Sounds good in theory but would like to see it in practice. I think anyone who intentionally fires in the direction of the incident should be removed from the field by management and security from the grounds.

The one thing we can't change is people, cheating, wiping, or being all around off...(to be polite) Is there a cap yes! 3000! and it was met well before the prereg date. I get dozens of calls daily to help someone out and get them in. Will there be walk ons...NO...is there the possibility of seeing someone paying a balance when they check in....yes. There is a cap on tanks, rocket launchers, and I do hope that everyone as a whole is going to be alittle more proactive about what is on the field. I ref at any field I play when it comes to goggles, or to offer my personal hand held to a ref to chrono someone shooting Hot. I know alot of you on these boards do it, but we are on these boards because we are Geeks and talk about paintball everyday! but we have to lead by example, as good players so others learn the right habits.

Sorry I don't have my torch out. I had it out before when I was sweating some copper pipe. So no flaming here. lol Seriously though your intentions sound good. I am not calling you a lair but my team was able to register up until June 25th. I know cause our Team's Skirmish coordinator called in the registration that morning! If in fact the 3000 person limit was reached well before 25th, that would mean there will be more than the limit and no one should have been able to make a reservation after that limit reached date. I have a feeling there will be more than 3000 people. I also tend to think a Walk on will not be turned away either. Hey who knows. The way I see it, if it is a repeat of last year, then the case for change (lack of) has been made. If so, that would make the event more desirable to go to in the future.

Im packing now... Should be camping with Team Wulfenkow (since i need to get my jersey and tac vest).

IF anyone remembers the "team zyklon B" thread i made a while back... he has since made threats to multiple members on the team, and somehow is STILL allowed to play with that team name and be allowed on the property.

Ill have a video camera for all the fun times, and hopefully my barrel cam will work, so i can get some "action" shots.

Every ref should have a chrono on their person, with good batteries.

This is a pet peeve of mine regarding all fields. It's like cops without handcuffs.

Get these guys proper equipment to do their jobs.

Truth. about $5000 will buy enough handheld chronos for 75 refs. I'm sure Skirmish could find a way to get an extra $5000. Raise registration prices like...$5 at most?
