Thinking about building a tank

Ok guys Im thinking about making a tank. Im considering using a gas golf cart or a utv for the base. The only thing is I cant seem to find anything at a decent price. Any suggestions or links on where I can find some decent prices.

craigslist.

they have a ton. just be prepared to drive a ways to get it. search the big cities around where you live.

Local small golf courses. Ask the grounds crew. Also go to camp grounds. You can usually get a good buy there

Hell with all the rednecks and psychos, PSCO hasn't confiscated a tank yet?

We've had just about everything else.

Then again.....sunstar does have that mobile ems unit with tracks just sitting in the service bay...Hmmm

Also there was one on park street by tyrone mall for sale. I saw while doing a board run yesterday.

electric golfcarts make nice ones, sometimes they sneak up and blast the crap out of you before you know it. With all that is going on they are going to be harder to find than usual, people are trying to stay away from gas powered vehicles.

Titus Im trying to steal one from the jail. It seems like every nurse or specialist has their own. Its crazy. I was trying to stay away from electic so if Im somewhere I can not recharge the batteries but I guess its an option.

Well at least you chose to build off an golf cart/atv base....I've been waiting for the Insurance companies statrt to frown on the heavy car/truck tanks. Seems that some of the fields are only letting golf cart/atv style tanks on the field...

I was considering one of those cheap china built atvs and redoing the frame and making a wider and longer wheel base. Use alot of fans to duct the heat out of the engine area....
