Game canceled and reschedualed due to Hurricane IKE

The Mt Pleasant hospital received word from their
emergency network that the eye wall of the
hurricane is supposed to pass right over Mt
Pleasant.

The field sits in one of the most tornado prone
areas of the county.

Additionally, the hurricane is supposed to hit
Houston where a lot of the players and refs were
coming from.

I have no choice but to reschedule. Never in 12
years have I had to do this.

If you know anyone who was intending to attend the
event please call them.

The event will be rescheduled to Sept 27th & 28th.
Anything else puts it too close to the event at
Tactical or too close to Twilight Zone in
November.

Tank is arranging for a special gun for the event,
and we will have a special drawing from the pre
registered players we have now and give it to one
of them in attempt to make up for any
inconvenience. Thank you to Tank and Procaps!

Good luck to all of our friends in Houston and the
surrounding areas.

That does kind of suck as this weekend would have been better for me, but I am still going to be at there on 9/27-28.

I'm still trying to work my schedule out to be on the Zebra crew for the new date but I'm not sure my family commitments will allow it.

I'm out Hurricane IKE has killed. House is ok but still no electric after 5 days and lost 4 days of work.

But I do understand!!

Now if I can come up with about 6 to 10 more ref's for this game I'll be set! Shouldn't be a problem I have six days!!

Power came on Thursday night, the deepfreezer survived everything was still icebox cold if not frozen

still the probability of me showing is bleak

but who knows....I might be up for 2 more days of camping
