| Rec Poster | If you plan on flying anytime soon I would suggest you look into Southwest Airlines FIRST! I'm getting ready to fly to EMR to produce the Tippmann Extravaganza and I went to US Airways to check the latest baggage policies only to find out they are now CHARGING passengers for their baggage! WTF!!! ![]() They now charge you $15, each way, for your first bag and $25 for the second! With the stuff I have to haul up there I need two bags, so that tacks another eighty bucks onto the price of flying from Dallas to Binghamton, NY! ![]() Some airlines are only charging the $25 for the second bag. Southwest still flies your luggage (two bags) for the price you paid them to fly you. Other airlines: American Airlines: Same fees $15/$25 United Airlines: Same fees $15/$25 United Airlines: Same fees $15/$25 Continental Airlines: $25 for second bag Delta Airlines: $25 for second bag Southwest (Although they don't fly into Binghamton) FREE!!! |

WTF is absolutely right. I live in Milwaukee and looked into taking the speedy ferry over to Muskegon, MI. They charge so much for you to take the ride, so much extra if you are bringing a car or bike or whatever, and then an additional fuel surcharge both ways. It just feels like you're paying way too much when things are charged for separate. I know it would cost the same if they just rolled it together and charged one fee up front, but WASSUP!?
