Well the integrated reg threads together in-line with the bolt and back cap, so a possible issue is that in theorey your reg could unscrew and dump high pressure air into the body of your gun.

You can try, but if one epoxy didnt work, others probably wont as well. You could try super glue, or some other glue designed for plastics. But, if i were you, id just get a new shell.
