You can weld on the bodies but you risk warping the metal. Original AGD bodies are silver soldered. If you don't believe just heat one ss body enough to melt the solder and the feedneck will detach.

If you end up needing to adjust, then heat the base to release the loctite in it. After that it'll screw easily....
