When I had my Sniper I had to use a stiff valve spring to stop it from farting. I was using a Mac Dev red valve but I think it would be the same with any valve.

Never will leak there. If the o-ring on the outside of the valve is bad it will shoot air out the back of the body. If the o-ring on the front of the valve is bad it will leak down the barrel.

You should be able to fit a piece of paper between the backblock and the body. If your back block is too close it can put the pump arm in a bind and that is likely causing your pump rod wear.

Keep the slider, they are way faster.
