Definitely a custom job, looks to be aluminum. Probably made as a cheaper alternative to the PTP intruder expansion chamber. Best way to have done that is with mig, way less time spent heat soaking....

In my avatar that's a micro vsc with a 13/3k. There's obviously a noticeable difference between a bucket changer and that, but it's still easy to maneuver and doesn't really weigh anything down.
