I don't use one but getting hit in the mask occasionally with the cocking rod isn't a big deal to me. I think they are ~$15 later from CCM if you decide not to order it with. I Use a CCM 86 pump kit...

The acrylic is soft enough that the threaded feedtube will friction fit or self thread. Also you don't need a feed tube you can use it like a cram & jam using just the 10 round tubes.
