I already tried turning the knurled knob, but it does nothing as it isn't attached to anything, when the nut just underneath it is unscrewed, the knob falls out and is just a fat pin to push down on...

I was thinking if I needed to get it out, I could notch the end of the bolt lug and use a flat blade screwdriver, but that seems very overkill seeing as I only want to get the bolt out to have a look...
