The feed tube and the valve tube are both too long to be a PMI-1.
Looks like a sawed P68.. not sure due to the 12g knob.
Or a top-tubed KP.. not sure due to the feed gate that doesn't seem to be patched.
Last chance, a scratch build.

Anyway that's beautiful.

baader, that kp body has a d/f patch that looks a lot like one i did for teimusan a while back along with another kp... except that one had a chopped dropout cut. i like your woodwork, keep it up!

dgorman47, still bummed about that stock being cut down... i remembered i have let one k-pirate stock go on a scratchbuild, here's a picture from it's new owner tacolex:

and a size comparison vs. a k-p68sc:

edit: RaSs FR, it has what i call a 'streamlined' d/f patch, you have to look REALLY close...

Yes, the length of the tubes and the bolt made me think of a KP, but being unable to see a patch, I was confused. You guys definately have golden hands. Wish I could work the brass and the wood like you.

Hehehe, Tacolex doesn't own that one anymore. Just out of curiosity, did you do any valve work to this thing before selling it? Off a fresh twelvie, it puts out about 350 for the first few shots. Then it works it's way down, and the last 4 or 5 shots hit around the 200 mark. And that's with the velocity adjuster backed out completely.

But god I love this KP. Your wood working skills are amazing.

dm6rocker: sounds like the mainspring's still too tight, may need to be trimmed... i don't have regular access to a chrony so it wasn't checked before leaving my hands... as for the valve, it's just a cartridge valve, i probably bored it out and used a dynavalve cup seal, likely the cause for it to be shooting so high with a stock spring.

Another pseudostocker type setup with a little something for those rainy days.

Not sure I like the bright brass bits on it... might have to blacken em as well.
