The exhaust appears to be a little bigger then the palmer valve to me.

Looking back at those graphs I put up... definitely have better numbers now about 10 more shots above 260.

I smoothed out the inside of the cartridge valve and remove about two threads from the end of the piercing end that screws into the valve, this allows better flow around the cupseal.
I also took about 2mm off the valve stem and countersunk the head on the hammer slightly, to increase hammer travel.
I then tried to drill two holes through the hammer to lighten it up, but the drill bit broke half way through, I guess I need a cobalt bit not carbide.

If you want to drill the hammer out, you have to anneal it first. They are hardened.

Well after testing my new valve guide today, with a lightened hammer, I got about 28 shots above 250fps. It still needs some tweaking as the first few shots were above 300 and I couldn't find one of my trimmed springs.

Edit: This was out of a PMI-1.
