PGP leak

I recently aired up my PGP and there is a leak, Right below the pump handle at the start of the grip frame.

The Leak isn't a constant stream, if you put it up to your ear it's more of a gurgling sound.

Any ideas on what is faulty and how to fix it?

It might help to know if its cartridge or non-cartridge valve.

Yes it is. Owner hadn't played in years, gun was dripping WD40, and had a 12gram stuck. Brought it home removed the 12 gram, wiped off the outside, aired up, shot perfectly. Took apart to clean off the WD40 and polish. Put it back together and it leaks.

So I'm just gonna take a guess and assume the the WD40 messed up you valve I would order a non-cartridge vale seal kit from PPS and make sure you get the valve tool as well or else you can't remove the valve. Once you install the new valve parts I'm sure it will shoot good as new.

Gurgling makes me think oil, grip frame makes me think valve o-ring. Try removing the frame and airing it up. Depending on which hole it's coming from determines which o-ring or seal is shot.

Here's the thing if he hasn't shot it in year and you have any type of a leak, you're gonna wanna change all the seals anyway. If you get the PPS seal kit it comes with the Dyna Valve which will increase the number of good shots you get per 12 gram. So that's a pretty nice upgrade without spending 300 dollars.

Exactly why tinker with it when you can get a seal kit and fix it one shot while improving you marker.

I think I may have found the answer to my leak.

In the 12gram chamber there appears to be white fuzz. Looks similar to sheep wool, and I can see it, it's getting into the inner workings of the marker.

I'm having some problems removing it, (don't have long enough needle nosed pliers) Once it's removed I'll let you know if the problem is fixed.
