PM sent with my email address. My wife is a Kiwi and we got back and forward regularly so that could be another option we might be able to look at.

Just charging the camera battery and will get some more detailed shots of some specific bits which might help narrow things down some more.

Ok some more detailed stuff. Hopefully might be of some help.

Fill port. I cant find any close up pictures of what the Mac relief valve looked like. But wondering if all that happened is that they reversed the check valve? There is no discernible change in finish so it kinda doesn't look like an after thought. And that line through the tube is the nondescript paint. Looks like the paint wasn't quiet dry before the tubes were put back into the stock.

End plug. The lower tube plug on this one is a good example the majority have munted knurling where they have been cranked tight at some stage with vice grips. Your pics look different again.

Not much use but showing the nondescript colour over coating the camo. All my stocks are like this.

are you looking for pictures of the original vent valve setup?

Thanks chplnstone. Looks similar. Do you have access to one to take some more pictures? Am curious what the seat at the lower tube looks like and if they are the same on both types.

We can maybe get away with one................. just! Any more and there would be a lynching I reckon.
