you'll understand what WharfRat is saying when you pull the valve out.

there is a lead washer under the square valve nut. throw that washer away, you don't need it. reassemble the valve without that washer.

edit: and how do you adjust velocity on one of these?

ok i tried another 12 gram and it worked
and the first 12 gram pierced correctly so idk what was wrong the first time around but on run 2 i got this (click to watch the vid)

you need to buy an RVA(rear velocity adjuster) to adjust the velocity. that's your best way to do it.


or add some small washers behind the hammer spring to increase velocity. shorten the hammer spring to decrease velocity. be carefull when you shorten the spring. take your time and shorten it in very small increments or you'll get it too short and a velocity that's too low.
