P-68AT Leak

Hey guys,

I have a P68AT and its leaking at the valve. Some how the top part of the valve where the nut goes through with the threads on the sides loosened and became undone. I recently received my valve tool and attempted to put it back together. It still continues to leak at the valve, I believe its because the O ring isn't lined up causing it not to seal. I literally just dropped all the pieced in the tube, with proper sides facing up in order according to the instructions. Is there something Im doing wrong or is there a specific way of putting it back together? Do i need to lube anything besides the oring?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you should take everything back out, and make sure the insides of the tube a clean.

then take your valve tool and put the nut on the square end. hold the tool vertical and stack all the valve internals on top of the tool in the correct order. then hold the gun body with barrel pointing up in one hand, take the valve tool(with all the stacked internals) in your other hand (while holding it vertical) and insert it into the back of the gun. that's how it should be done. you don't drop the pieces like you tried.

Make sure when you do that that it threads easy.. they are very easy to strip.

Good tip is to start to twist slightly, and keep backing up till you feel a slight click (start of the receiving thread).
