Brass Eagles seem not to ft in some markers as they have this funny lip. I know I had a BE or two stick in my Sydarm because of their size. I buy 40 boxes of Crossman at Canadian Tire myself.

Once while trying to diagnose problems with a CoreZX, I gassed it up and took it apart several times in a row. I was using crossman 12 grams purchased at walmart. Everytime I opened the gun up, the internals were covered with a nice black sludge.
I don't use crossmanns anymore.

I've seen issues using some brands of 12 grams in lever changers as they don't seem to be consistent in length & the lever has to be adjusted to the length of the 12gr. Oddly enough the cheap ebay bulk order 12grs seem to be the most consistent in length.
I don't have enough experience using my PGP to tell if there much difference between brands but at least with the screw-in changer different lengths isn't an issue.
