| Paintball sooo good. Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada | KP3 Questions. I don't think my 12 grams are piercing properly. The 12grams look like they been pierced by a small needle. I compared it to one that was punctured by a Zeus pistol, and the whole was a lot bigger. Is this normal? |

| MCB Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: NC | yes it's normal. main spring tension and valve spring tension all take roll in how big of a hole is poked in the 12 gram. if you crank in the RVA (provided that it has one) and you will see a bigger hole. back it out and you'll see a smaller hole. |

| MCB Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: NC | that's a late model style. push/pull safety. you may want to pull the bolt on that gun and see if it has a velocity adjuster in it. some Speed Demon bolts have a set screw in the end of it that can be adjusted to block the amount of air that flows through the bolt. pull the bolt out of the gun and look in the end of it. if there is a set screw, turn it clockwise all the way. then put it back together and try that. then you can use your external adjuster shown in your pic. |

| MCB Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: NC | take a picture of the hole that the co2 flows through. it probably needs new springs if your trying to run it off of 12 grams. if the gun was tuned to be shooting at a safe velocity on CA, and then you switch to 12 grams, your velocity is going to be lower. |
