| Screw sizes in the PMI LB well i just picked up a PMI LB and im looking to replae ALL the hardwaer with SS screws and bolts BUT the rear screws that hold in the CA adapter are stripped, making it VERY hard to determine the thread. do any of you have a link to a place that has the screws i need? or do any of you happen to know the size of these screws? | the screws from the grip frame to the body and ASA are 8-32. the air line screws are 10-32, but you'll need to drill very small holes in them to allow them to behave like "banjo" fittings. the two small side screws that help hold the ASA in place are either 6-32 or more likely 4-40. the hard part is that the stock screws are actually undercut ovalhead screws. hard enough to find in regular steel, but stainless? you might have to go google for a supplier. you didn't mention whether the screw or the hole was stripped. which one? in either case, take the screws and the ASA with you to the store and match up the thread sizes. --J |
