so i wanted to know how all of you with pgps deal with changing your 12 grams. so oviously i change my 12 gram when the velocity drops below breaking level so when i change them theres still co2. do you guys slowly vent it or what? the problem i have is i dont want to shoot it till its empty and if i vent im afraid of hurting the O-rings but if i release it fast it propels itself out. so what should i do and how many useable shots should i be getting off a pgp2

I have a cartridge PGP, I usually fire Twenty rounds and change out. You can get a couple more if the tactical situation requires it but that's what I use for a rule of thumb. I've dropped 12 grams out of bucket loaders that just sat on the ground and spun. I don't think a stock PGP will let you drop one out that could hurt anything. Fixed, thanks WT! Like others have said, just unscrew the changer and it will immediately start to vent any leftover CO2 and you won't need to worry about rockets. When I had my PMI-1 with a drop out lever changer set up, that would occasionally let some rockets fly. Twelve gram cartridges will do some impressive loops an aerobatics if they are instantly released with a good amount of charge left.
