Looking for a new sheridan

I loved my previous Sheridan, a p68-sc, but it devoured 12 grams. I was looking for a Sheridan that had a stock class feed tube, but was CA. Naturally, I came to the PMI-II. Before I bought one however, I wanted to make sure that this gun is good. So, is it any good?

In my oppinion, all Sheridans are "good". If you want a factory original Sheridan, than a PMI-II is your only choice for that configuration. Of course, your P-68-SC could have easily been converted to CA with off the shelf parts (CA Adapter, hose, UMB, duckbill ASA, and fittings). Your other alternative is to get a PPS Superstocker, but those are considerably more money.

You are looking at $100+ for a Sheridan in good working condition.

Palmers charges $79 + shipping for a performance tune that should make yours better than new.

Of course, you will have to control yourself and only get the performance tune to save money sending it to Palmers...

Get it classic finish'd....

BTW, how much DOES a classic finish cost? I want to re-nickel my P-68 and have them fix the ASA... maybe even retune it.
