spray some oil down there and beat it! but not too hard.

are you sure that one is in there?can you see it down the front?
it will have about an 1/8 in. hole..

has anything come out at all?

there are 5 pieces that should come out

yeah, some penetrating oil left over night will help. sometimes they are a bitch to get out and you have to smack it.

also, make sure it hasn't moved any already. remember what i said earlier, the 12 gram will only move it so far and then the 12 gram will hit on the shoulder that the chamber plug seals against.

when i take out chamber plugs, i drop a 12 gram down the tube followed by a 5/8" wooden dowel rod. i then mark the wooden dowel where it is even with the end of the bottom tube. i then hit it with a hammer and watch the mark on the dowel rod. when the mark disappears i stop hitting and i remove the dowel and 12 gram. i then insert a 1/2" wooden dowel down the tube and tap it until everything drops out the back of the gun.

on my 5/8" dowel i used masking tape to make bushings to keep the dowel centered in the tube.

I think I just realized my problem. I never took the O-ring out. I'm guessing that's what's holding it in there so tight. Anybody know where I can get a dental pick or something like it before Monday? Preferably a store like Hobby Lobby (I'm checking there tomorrow).

is this a late model p 68 with old style internals? if so, it ma have a steel ring in place of the annoying rivet/nut to hold the front of the trigger frame...if that ring is still inside, it may prevent removal using a 12 gram...
if its still in there, it would choke the 12 gram, locking it against the soldered in valve core

huh, i've never seen a steel ring like that before.

are you sure that the ring is factory original? that ring is probably a 3rd party mod job.

anyone else seen a ring in one like that?
