P68, made from parts?

Hi, I'm new here. I really like these forums, been browsing for a while now.

Ok, well let me start.

I have recently found this shop: Products

I find it very usefull because it sells a lot of old parts for markers that are no longer in production. I see they sell a lot of parts for the P68 and I was wondering if you could make a P68 from the parts that they are selling?

I would like a P68, it is just what I want. I have been eyeing the PGP2k for a while but I want to run it on CA because it saves major costs. I like the P68 because it is a much longer marker than the PGP. Could I get a dummy 12gram with an ASA adapter on it to fit the P68?, I know I have to cut a hole in the bottom and I was thinking the CA adapter from cooper-T customs would be really good. I could put a 3.5 oz tank on it

But that is a little off topic. I just really want to know if I could make one from the parts on that website and maybe if someone would aid me through the process

Thanks a bunch

From just some quick browsing, seems like all the parts there but I don't see the 12 gram plunger (but I'm sure you can get somethings from palmers or something) but depending how much you are willing to deal out for a P68SC, it might be a bit much.

The CA issue shouldn't be a problem, there's a CA adapter for PGP2k1's from Palmer's also. I've also seen the CA adapters for P68SC around on the BST's every now and then.

I know it might be a little bit pricy but for a new P68 it isn't bad. I didn't see the 12gram plundger as well. The marker needs it to seal doesn't it?

The e-z air bottom drop will fit on the P68 won't it? You can see it here: Cooper-T Sniper Accessories

If I am going to buy part to build one up myself what upgrades should I look into getting? (valves/bolts,ect.)

Wear can I view a parts list for the P68? anyone know?

Yepp, it needs the plunger to push against the 12 gram to make a tight seal.

The E-z bottom will fit, but you might need to mod your pump a bit to allow space for the Vertical air.

I say get it tuned at Palmers, the efficiency on P68sc's aint the best so tuning is necessary if you want the best performance IMO, it'll cost $70ish.
You might want to look into a PPS speedgate or an extended feed plug so you can reload faster. Also a fasst changer for the 12 grams.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Ack I dont remember his name

That alright though because the pump is nice and long.

I am looking at a few palmers goodies too. The speedgate is one of them. Don't know if I will send it to palmers, depends on how much money I have.

what exactly are you looking to build? a p68, yes, but with ca, direct feed or ammo tube (10 or 15 rounds?) ...and it looks like cooper-t has closed its doors, have to get the ca from elsewhere, i have a few if you cant find them elsewhere...spell it out, maybe you could build it out of parts from other members...im building one now :-) a base for one of my imp kits, pgp bottom tube, p 68-sc barrel, and a df from bacci...just finished soldering and clean-up
